THE 12 HOUR SCOUT ADVENTURE RACE

The Scout Adventure Challenge, a 12-hour adventure race open to both youth (boys & girls) and adults, is now in its third year. This event was created 3 years ago to teach the values and lessons of adventure racing youth: teamwork and perseverance, and mental tenacity.

We had 44 Scout Adventure Premier participants. Last year we had 134 participants. We expect to have well more than 200 racers this year. The Boy Scouts use all proceeds from the event to pay for their annual activities.

When: July 9, (registration takes place on July 8, with everyone camping that night).
Where: Baker Ranch, Irvine, CA.
Length: Adult teams that are the fastest to complete in 12 hours will finish in 5 hours
